I first messaged Susy on Match in late October 2013. Decided to pay for the feature that showed me when a user had read my message. She read it 5 minutes after I sent it. No response. So I waited 5 days and decided she was worth a 2nd message. She read that second message 5 minutes after I sent it. Nothing.
About a week later she wrote me, “Hola que tal?” (Hey how’s it going?) and that was it. It was like pulling teeth getting longer messages from her but it was a welcomed challenge as well.
How it worked?
Eventually we exchanged numbers and planned our 1st date for November 26, 2013.
